Watch the trailer. Movie looks like it could be super cute! I'm getting all sorts of Linguini vibes from the main kid, though, hmm. The viking chicks are too cute, really unclassically adorable which is great.

Also, I watched Monsters vs. Aliens with my nephew a couple days ago. While it really wasn't amazing, and the humans had wretched designs, I have to say that I really liked Susan's character development. She went from wanting nothing more in life than to be a blushing bride to suddenly wanting nothing more than to be a giant woman who fights robots. Like, it wasn't just a metaphor to be more self confident, she literally wanted to fight things and be huge and punch through steel. That was really fun
And there was a bit in the movie where a couple at lovers lane sees a spaceship crash land, and I just loved how the roles were reversed in that scene. The girl was trying to get into the guys pants, and he was terrified of the spaceship and the girl wanted to go check it out. That was really great, I'm sure it went right over the heads of kids

SO. Is there anything amazing coming out any time soon? Princess And The Frog is looking better all the time, honestly! I really hope it does not suck
I can already tell that Dr. Facillier is gonna be one of my fav disney villains

It will be printed as 4" x 6" rounded edge postcards. They will be sold in packaged sets of 6 or 12. Each will be numbered and signed as this will be a limited edition of 200! Should be available in about a week.

I would also like to do shirts. Im thinking about some kind of text like "Der Krampus" or even better "Gruss vom krampus" ( Greeting from the Krampus, seen on many vintage Krampus postcards) so it doesn't just look like some weird random devil. Perhaps the text would promt people that don't know of Krampus to ask what it is? I'll shop the design around and see if anyone bites...

So I came up with a hypothesis regarding the origins of Zutara a few years ago now and I really want to get this niggly feeling off my chest by either confirming or disproving it in a poll. More sketch commissions! Working on the rest tomorrow.

Hey and i WILL be at Midwest Furfest in two weeks in the Dealer's Room. I'll have all kind of goodies including wood cut outs, etched glass and Tentatiger toys since it's a local con and i can bring whatever i want. I will also have printed hoodies, shirts, scarves, leather work, patches etc etc and will probably be doing sketch commissions. Please come on by the table and say hello! :)

Also just a heads up. I finally lost my battle with not getting sick and came down with something yesterday after being mildly sick and then totally fine for the past two weeks or so. I will do my best to get things out on time but cut me a little slack since i feel pretty awful, haha. :P All i want to do is lie on the couch and cough, ugh.

Bad Stuff: The Peter Vadala Story (a post with music)

A senior thesis idea for communications major Peter Vadala has turned into a campus-wide "Culture of Life" project that will soon evolve into "College Musical," a movie intended to spread the message of God's grace to secular audiences.

The project started out simply as a script that Vadala was writing for his thesis. When Vadala chose to actually create the movie, the project grew to include nearly 30 musicians, vocalists, actors and technical crew.

At first Vadala's script focused on abortion, but as he revised, he decided to focus on an anti-pornography message. Vadala said he can understand the issue, since he has met men who struggle with pornography.

Animashon

Just watched 'Monsters vs Aliens' finally. It was okay. It'd have been much better if it was more about President Colbert and less about the, well, aliens and the monsters I guess. I really want to see 'Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs' because, despite EVERYTHING telling me it should be terrible, I've heard good things about it.

Speaking of animated movies, this looks absolutely wonderful:

I'm booking to go see Disney's 'A Christmas Carol' in the iMax in London nearer December because the hell if we're seeing a Christmas movie in the first week of November. >:(

I know some of you fellow Avatards are participating in this year's NaNoWriMo. However, I'm wondering if any of you are doing Avatar fanfiction? Just curious.

I still haven't started writing (I know, I'm crazy) and I'm kind of torn between writing original fiction and fanfiction. If I choose the latter, I have an even bigger problem of choosing which plot to go with, LOL.

Nice things

SAT'S start tomorrow.

Wish me luck as a strap on my "headband-of-awesome" and crack my knuckles in anticipation of the long, tedious, and mind exhausting task that awaits me tomorrow morning.

I have spent all freaking week prepping for this, I better do fraking well for all my effort!!

Also, it was my mother's birthday the other day! We had dinner at a delicous Italian restaurant right in town. Oh my godness, they had the most delicious Alfredo with veggies EVER. Pure delicosity!

And apparently it was also my animation teacher's birthday as well. He brought in a scrumptious chocolate and sponge-cake cake with strawberries.

People who know me well know I have a big sweet tooth, especially if it's free, and I also like to make a dork of myself and rush full speed to the goodies yelling "CAAAAAAAKE!"

But this was animation class where many of my friends were with me, so natrually I feel much more comfortable being silly than I would in sat my English or Math class. I do have some standards

So, to make a long story short, in my excitment/clumsiness. I tripped on a backpack on the floor and my right legg was pretty sore afterwards. But I had cake! So it was all good.

And since I feel I need to share something more. I've been listenign to the band "Pomplamoose" I've been working to their music for the last few days and It's the perfect thing to chill to after a tiring day at school.
