Previously, Noah Ringer's expressionless baby face has cause a bit of upset among Airbender critics. In a picture released today, the poorly accepted actor of lead role Aang shows off a smile. In other news I finally finished reading the 5th Sookie Stackhouse book Friday after being stuck in the middle of it for like 6 weeks. And then I read the entire 6th book yesterday. And I started the 7th last night haha. I love these books. NEEDS MORE ERIC (which I've been told happens, so yay). In my head Quinn looks like bald Michael Trucco, idek.

How come every time there's an ONTD post about me there's a million pictures of Doc Hammer in the comments?

I'm trying to convince someone that I should be the one to illustrate her cook book. She likes the samples of my work that I showed her, she's still unsure about me because I don't have any paintings or drawings of food. While I'm confident that I can draw anything you put in front of me, I've never painted food ever (other than a taco with scorpion legs and a stinger), so I don't have any samples.

I've been told that you don't even lift your pencil for the client until they clearly offer you money (or other compensation). This is so they don't use you for free artwork.

So is there some professional way for me to tell her, "please just look at the samples I've given you and imagine that the subjects are food"? Can I say "I can draw anything you put in front of me, and here's my proof", and send her samples of everything I've drawn in every subject? Or something?

It just doesn't feel right to draw anything for her until we reach a real agreement. But I don't know what to say to her.

I couldn't remember the others I saw this year so I looked up on wiki ALL the movies that came out this year, and selected the ones that stick out in my mind.

WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE - Puppet bodies animated faces.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince - I m too old to be a rabid fan, but this was the best of the films, not as annoying and predictable as the others, In all the others I kept telling myself "If I was a young boy I'd love this- RIGHT?" but this one got to me.
Their FX people are so good you really cant tell whats real and whats CG!

Coraline - the theater full of dogs!



Watchmen - as good a movie as could be made of this!

Crank: High Voltage - crap but I Laughed til it hurt!

X-Men Origins: Wolverine - cant defend it to its haters..... I liked it.

Terminator Salvation Not as good as 2 - Way better than 3!

Drag Me to Hell - Sam! You're back!

District 9 - lotsa CGI animation.....



Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs - why not put that machine over ethiopia!? the ending where hes IN that machines innards was like a marvelously bizarre spoof of the end of the original STAR TREK the motion picture.

A Christmas Carol - good technology but why this story AGAIN!?!?!?!

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen - a great FX popcorn movie but made me feel really old.

I saw Fanboys on dvd and thought it was a hoot! Go Ernie! Years ago I offered to shoot an early version of this movie on DV!

I know advertisement about the new Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles game has been all over the place. BUT I AM STILL IN DENIAL ABOUT IT. Fuck. The first CC game was a real gem. The others were great too.

But then Square Enix has to take a gigantic shit all over it.
NOW IT LOOKS LIKE ANOTHER GENERIC FINAL FANTASY GAME.
Selkies and Clavats are almost indistinguishable.
Lilities are more human looking.
AND YUKES ARE NOW EXTINCT.



Why did you have to take the game in a completely different direction, Square Enix? Were the males not androgynous enough? Were the tribes too distinct from each other? WHY WHY WHY WHY.


I am now an asshole and will now descend to the depths of dickbags from once I came.
