Remember that time I frequently posted on livejournal? No? Me neither!
Not too far back the editor of A Modest Proposal (on-campus newspaper) asked me to do another piece of art for him. "Another?" you ask? Why yes! I've drawn a ton of pictures for them, but never shown you, dear internet, because I'm selfish. What Mac asked me to draw was summed up in his email with "...so yea, some picture of the pope being hypocritical and excommunicating that girl and maybe like eating a baby or something equally awful." Did you also know that I take things a little too literally sometimes?

So this is what I sent back to Mac:
And I did this entirely in good conscience, mind you; I mean, he asked me to do it, so why wouldn't I? Anyways, Mac responded with a shockingly long email. Some excerpts:
"I uhh... I never in my wildest dreams imagined that you would actually draw a pope eating a baby. So yea, this is my bad. Ummm... we can't use the image."
"I actually replaced my old desktop wallpaper (your picture for the center spread a few months ago) with this one, so don't misunderstand. The picture is amazing. But we can't use it."
"Again, this is a *fantastic* picture. The expression of mischevious joy on his face as he slurps that baby like a spaghetti noodle is fucking priceless. But we can't use it."
haha, he had to tell me 3 separate times that they couldn't use it! AWESOME. But then someone put it in anyways, just not attached to its original article:
